anna is one of my best friends in the whole wide world. we were kind of forced into a friendship by means of proximity– sharing a small, cement bedroom in cajamarca, peru, while working together with 40-something of the world’s cutest children, but that friendship quickly blossomed into something i cherish so much.

anna has this infectious happiness– a way of making people feel loved and included and just… happy. she is a million things i want to become and has the biggest heart out there, so naturally, i am so thrilled that she’s tying the knot with her best friend! i loved getting to know jake via daily skype sessions (mostly anna skyping jake with my occasional “comedic” comments, just to clarify 😉 ) and am so impressed with his kindness, work ethic, + love for my anna.

i was so excited to get to photograph these two’s engagement session as my last spring shoot in utah! i really love them and i love their love (but yeah, what else is new?)
