brandon + jana groomals // idaho falls, id

i had the chance to photograph the most beautiful couple in idaho falls, idaho the evening before their wedding day. jana + brandon opted for a pre-wedding groomals session to ease the pressure on their big day.

fortunately, we were graced with gorgeous overcast lighting (despite the crazy downpour on their actual wedding day!) and plenty of time to explore the site of their wedding–the idaho falls lds temple. we ended the session by crossing the river and taking photos next to the falls themselves!

jana + brandon are such a sweet couple with a genuine love. i loved shooting the night before their wedding; it was so fun to hear their excitement and work out the pre-wedding jitters. and did i mention they’re beautiful? check out jana’s gorgeous brown eyes! to die for.

and if you think this is pretty, just wait until you see their wedding! every detail was perfect.

XO.

engaged, and looking for a lds temple photographer in idaho falls (or elsewhere?!) let’s talk! i’d love to capture your special days and have limited availability still for winter 2013 and spring 2014.

country-indie bridal inspiration // eagle, id

so sorry i’ve been MIA the last little bit. i came down with a nasty virus and spent my week in doctors’ offices and engrossed in grey’s anatomy, too sick to whip out the laptop and update you all. BUT i’m on the mend, and i figured it’s time to share this beauty from the spring.

now that it’s officially november, the weather out here in the rockies is officially going to stink. i mean, it’s already forty-three degrees here in colorado, and it’s just going to get worse from here!

so i’ll introduce you to the gorgeous kaileigh and share with you the inspiration behind our country-indie-folk bridal shoot. while in boise, idaho this past may, kaileigh and i headed out into the wild, wild west (fields of brush and some rolling hills just outside eagle, idaho) to capture the perfect, relaxed country bridal influence with an indie twist. we loved the combination of the fabric floral details of the shabby apple dress, kaileigh’s tattoos, the turquoise engagement ring, and the classic cowboy boots.

throw in the pretty idaho backdrop and killer sunset, and you’ve got…

like the down-home country vibes of this shoot? you’re not the only one!

this gorgeous bridal inspiration shoot was lucky enough to be featured in the texas-based wedding blog, the wedding connection. you can find the feature here.
